Arrival Assistance and Hospitality for New Students

Coming to a new country can be challenging, confusing, and sometimes frightening.  It’s common for internationals to experience a variety of emotions ranging anywhere from excitement to anxiety.  IFO would like to help you navigate through this process.  To begin with, we would love to have one of our Friendship Families to meet you upon your arrival at the airport and take you to your apartment or dorm.  If you would like, we can offer you temporary housing for one to three days, at no expense.  This is helpful especially if you have not arranged permanent housing.  If needed, we can also arrange for someone to take you shopping to purchase groceries or household items to help you get settled.
